Scan a single file on Windows

With UltraAV, you can scan single files that you may have downloaded from the Internet. This is also known as a Custom Scan.
This is helpful if you've downloaded a file someone may have sent you, or if you have downloaded a file from somewhere on the Internet and you want to make sure it is clean before you launch it.
How to scan a single file
To scan a single file, follow these steps.
Windows 10
Locate the file you want to scan.
Right-click the file
Select the Scan with UltraAV option
This will open a new window. After a few seconds, the scan results will be displayed.
Windows 11
Locate the file you want to scan
Right-click the file
Select Show more options in the bottom of the list
Select the Scan with UltraAV option
This will open a new window. After a few seconds, the scan results will be displayed.
